Ki:Theory's (a.k.a. Joel Burleson) fresh approach to cut-n-paste music creates a unique amalgamation of sounds that is as much lo-fi and organic as it is forward thinking; invoking comparison to everything great about such artists as Beck, Four Tet and Sparklehorse. His all original EP "Brittle Branches" is out now. Ki:Theory's original tracks have also appeared in episodes of C.S.I. along with documentaries and movies. Along with Queens of the Stone Age, Ki:Theory's remixes include UNKLE, Maps, Brazilian Girls and DJ Sasha. Ki:Theory's live performances have found him sharing the stage with a wide range of artists from Matthew Dear to Datarock to South to The Fiery Furnaces.
